The 18th Amazon Geology Symposium will be held in partnership with the GeoMamas Network of Geoscientist Mothers (GeoMamas) and the Brazilian Association of Women in Geosciences (ABMGEO).

This recognition reflects the organizing committee’s commitment to promoting a welcoming, diverse, fair, and inclusive event, reinforcing the importance of geological science grounded in respect, representation, and the appreciation of diversity.

The GeoMamas BIOSFERA Seal is an initiative that recognizes events adopting practices of care, inclusion, and the promotion of equity. In this edition, the SGA received this distinction in recognition of its commitment and efforts to create an increasingly plural and accessible environment for all participants.
